Assurance Maladie: Going Paperless in 2023

The French Primary Health Insurance Fund, the CPAM (Caisse Primaire d'Assurance Maladie), continues to expand its range of dematerialized procedures available to insured persons.

Online telephone appointment booking

As of March 1, 2023, CPAM has implemented a device that allows you to make a phone appointment with a CPAM agent.

The procedure is done from the Ameli account, the insured must go to the "My agenda" (Mon agenda) section, then select the "Make an appointment" (Prendre un rendez-vous) option.

Then, he/she will have to select the reason for the consultation among the available choices.

Finally, the insured will be able to choose the day and time slot in the proposed calendar.

On the day of the appointment, the CPAM consultant will call the phone number entered in the insured's Ameli account.

Uploading documents directly to the Ameli account

In addition to the possibility of ordering the Carte Vitale and the European Health Insurance Card online, downloading the Attestation of Rights, declaring the loss or theft of the card, requesting reimbursement for care provided abroad or requesting reimbursement for daily allowances, it will now be possible to download the documents requested by the administration directly via the Ameli account. Thus, when the insured person receives a notification of a complementary file, he/she will be able to send it online without having to send the required documents by post or to go to the CPAM in person to submit them.

This online service will be implemented by the Assurance Maladie during the year 2023.

Our dedicated team will keep you informed of the implementation of this system developed by the Assurance Maladie and aimed at facilitating the steps of the insured.
