Border controls reintroduced after the terrorist attacks in Paris

After terrorist attacks on Friday the 13th of November, 2015, decree N°2015-1475 from November 14th 2015 established the state of emergency for 12 days. Also, as  permitted by the Schengen regulation (Schengen Borders Code, Articles 23 et seq.), France has reintroduced border controls (and not the closure) until further notice. The French police can check the identity and residency papers (passport, visa, residence permit) of any person entering or leaving metropolitan France and Corsica.
