Our commitments
At Home Conseil Relocation, we are committed to a sustainable development approach. Since 2021 our electricity has come from 100% renewable sources.
Our commitment goes further than just providing high quality services – recognized by our EuRA Global Quality Seal (EGQS) certifications held since 2012 and ISO:9001 held since 2022 – we also contribute to the fight against climate change.
Our partner, Sami, who supports us towards carbon neutrality, helps us each year to:
Our carbon footprint for 2023
Our absolute carbon footprint increased slightly in 2023 with an overall footprint of 93 tonnes of CO² (compared to 88 tonnes of CO² in 2022)
However, our carbon intensity (kg of CO² per € of turnover) continued to decline for the 4th consecutive year! Our emissions in 2023 were only 29 kg CO²/€ turnover compared to 31 kg CO²/€ turnover in 2022.
Benchmark
With a more global look, our carbon performance compared to that of other companies, is below average in the non-financial services – engineering and consulting sector.
Towards a greener future
Aware of the impact of our great mobility industry, we want to remain at the forefront of this constant fight, as our President, Jeremy Berthoux, explained during the EuRA Convention in 2022:
Now as a member of the association's Board, Jeremy Berthoux has worked since his election in mid-2023 to set up the "Sustainability Training" module which aims to disseminate good practices in sustainable development in our industry.
On a daily basis, our emissions reduction plan involves:
All these efforts do not generate any additional costs for our customers. To go further, we offset the part of our carbon footprint that we have not been able to reduce with a financial commitment. We are proud to present our Carbon Contribution Certificate resulting from our collaboration with Inuk and which covers all of the 93 tonnes of CO² emitted by scopes 1, 2 & 3 of Home Conseil Relocation.
