Outsourcing of Visa Application Management for France: Change of Service Providers

As part of the outsourcing of services related to the collection of visa applications, three external service providers currently handle this task for France: TLS CONTACT, VFS GLOBAL, and CAPAGO.

This outsourcing policy for non-sovereign tasks (such as reception, file submission, and biometric data collection) to specialized service providers helps improve the efficiency of consulates while ensuring better quality customer service. Outsourcing these processes simplifies several key steps in the visa application process:

  • Appointment booking through an online platform, simplifying this crucial step of the process.
  • Collection of biometric data (photos, fingerprints, etc.).
  • Verification of documents.
  • Payment management and assistance for travelers.

Change of Service Providers for Visa Applications:

Algeria:
Starting April 7, 2025, the French company Capago International will replace TLS Contact and VFS Global, the current service providers handling visa applications.

United States:
A change in service provider will occur in mid-April for visa applications to France.

  • Before April 18, 2025: Appointments must be made with the current provider, VFS GLOBAL.
  • From April 18, 2025: Appointments will need to be made with the new provider, TLS CONTACT.

These changes aim to improve the efficiency of the visa application process, offering smoother and faster experience for applicants.
