A climate commitment that stands firm
For several years, Home Conseil Relocation has been engaged in a proactive approach to sustainable development. Since 2021, 100% of our electricity has come from renewable sources.
The publication of the 2024 Carbon Footprint confirms this commitment: our greenhouse gas emissions have decreased by 12% compared to 2023, despite a challenging economic context.
Our 2024 carbon footprint was carried out by our partner, Sami, who has been supporting us for the past 4 years.
This decrease reflects both a deliberate effort and the impact of external factors, as our revenue also declined over the same period. Nevertheless, this evolution has resulted in an increase in our carbon intensity (kilograms of CO₂ per euro of revenue), which now stands at 34 kg CO₂e per €1,000 of revenue.
A benchmark positioning Home Conseil Relocation at the forefront of its industry
From a broader perspective, our carbon performance remains below the average observed in our sector — non-financial services, including engineering and consulting — with an employee intensity of 1.6 tCO₂e per employee.
People at the heart of our approach
Our employees are fully committed to this transition: 85% report being sensitive to climate issues, and 95% consider Home Conseil Relocation to be a truly engaged company.
Looking ahead to 2025: strengthening our actions
Once again this year, Home Conseil Relocation demonstrates its commitment to carbon neutrality by offsetting all the emissions we were unable to reduce — a total of 82 tonnes of CO₂ — through the reforestation project in Cléré-les-Pins, Indre-et-Loire.
To maintain a reduction pathway aligned with the Paris Agreement, we are continuing our efforts to remain within our carbon budget by 2050.
Our initiatives are being reinforced, always without additional cost to our clients:
Together, we continue to “do our part” to limit our climate impact and build a sustainable future, in continuity with the actions undertaken in 2023 and 2022.
